                                                 Day 10  - July 05 - Plakias, Crete

                                                Hike the Night Away

                                                

                                                Repeat agenda from day before - making sure to purchase the Strawberry "mega sized" donut from the beach vendor.  Calm 

                                                waters in the morning with very warm temperatures.  During the early evening, it was time for the Plakias to Kalypso trail located 

                                                next to the hotel.

 

                                                An hour long hike along the costal rock and moonscape replica leads to a "niche in the mountain" resort entitled Kalypso.  No beach; 

                                                however, plenty of pools and instant access to diving and snorkeling.  The return hike was over, under, and around the Libya Sea 

                                                coast - including opening and closing a goat fence.    

 

                                                Dinner was a final return to Modousa Taverna - with the moon waxing almost to full status.
