Russia 2006 Journey Day Nine
Mainz, Germany
                                    [22 July, 2006] The heat was finally broken by afternoon thunderstorms - A quick 25 F degree
                                    drop.  Total countries represented at the Special Convention is 52.  The German police requested that
                                    attendees wait until the storms had cleared before leaving.  This allowed the French section to start 
                                    singing song after song - the other sections joined.
 
                                    Dinner was at a nice Italian restaurant (Colesseo) next to the hotel.  Nothing like Italian pasta and 
                                    watching German barges on the Rhine river.
