New Zealand 2007 

 

                                    Day Nine Auckland March 22

                                               

                                            Last day in Australia and the resort - mundane activities included washing clothes (Many

                                            of the hotels include washer/dryers in the room) and repacking.  The resort had a rain

                                            forest walk and includes viewing a kangaroo mob (multiple kangaroos) and even the 

                                            kookaburra bird.

                

                                            Route from the resort included more Pacific Ocean beach sites and the very touristic

                                            town of Noosaville.  A stop in the town of Birnheim included a small forest preserve

                                            and waterfall hike.  As always, there were plants and trees unknown to us and fully in 

                                            bloom.

 

                                            Late evening Qantas flight sent us from Brisbane, Australia, to Auckland, New Zealand,

                                            for a one night stopover.  Heading to Queenstown in the morning.
