Typical "PB" Day - not the acronym
for peanut butter; but the pool and beach sequence. Experienced
-
travelers understand the "vacation-within-a-vacation" schedule.
-
-
Tankah Bay has a breaker reef located at the mouth of the bay and allows for
snorkeling among
-
low reefs. No outstanding coral colors or unique fish; however, plenty
to keep the fins going.
-
-
A small thatched hut is built on the beach and accommodates loungers,
hammocks and sound napping
-
in the shade. An occasional bird or strolling dog would interrupt the wind filled
silence.
-
-
End of the day was a hike to the Northern end of Tankah Bay and a few steps
into Solomon Bay. Purchased
-
some garlic bread from a small restaurant on the stroll back to the
villa.
-
-
Same end of day routine - turn on the pool lights, swim a few laps, watch
the endless stars, and sleep
-
soundly.
