The day started with a natural wake up call - 5:30 AM sunrise over the Gulf of Mexico. Waves continued to pound the
remaining beach (Hurricane Wilma removed several meters depth and tonnage of sand in 2005). Listening to the
waves during the night with the sliding door open was tranquilizing, or could have been the late night arrival.

One of the two pool areas had the infamous pool beds that could be reserved and rented. Most of the crowd arrived
post lunch, or in time for the pool bar happy hour from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Strong winds created mini white caps
on the pool. Part of the pool was bi-level and included loungers set with the pool water. The Hyatt Caribe resort was
a slumber visit and included a New Orleans based restaurant evening - Blue Bayou was the name with real greenery
